Remi Vespa has more than twenty years of experience in the IT industry, gained throughout America, Europe and Asia. During these years, he demonstrated his ability to grow from technical to marketing, commercial, and eventually management positions. Before joining FaVic, Remi was the CEO of Silicon Recognition, a semiconductor company located in the Silicon Valley. Before joining Silicon Recognition, he served as Senior Vice-President at Dynasty Technologies Inc., a Texas-based leading provider of high-end software solutions for mission critical applications. His success in setting up the company's European operations and generating significant European revenues led to his relocation to Dynasty's U.S. headquarters, with the responsibility to set up operations in the Asia Pacific rim, Japan, and Latin America. Prior to 1993, Remi Vespa held various positions (from Chief Engineer to CEO) within Groupe IBSI, the arm of France Télécom in the Systems Integration arena. He is the creator of a software tool (CONCEPTOR) that became a leading product for the analysis and design of large projects,with hundreds of customers worldwide. Remi holds a Master of Science in mathematics from the University of Nice.

A retired Hewlett-Packard Marketing Executive, he attended Stanford University. He is an advisor to Dejima Inc., INVG Mortgage Securities Corp and China MobilSoft. He is a trustee of Sensory Access Foundation, and a Director of AARTI and Archimedes Project at Stanford . His clientele has included Rambus, Inc., Intel Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co., Tandem Computer, On-Command Video, Dionex, Vantive Corp., Pareto Partners and Fiskars OY.

A leading information technology (IT) expert and thought leader, Paolo is a retained independent consultant for the European Commission, a term professor at the Polytechnic of Milan, and a contributor in several knowledge-intensive enterprises, including Alephuture (Geneva), NextMedia Lab (Milan), and Saugatuck Technology (Westport, CT). A top Gartner analyst for eleven years, Paolo had previously led an artificial intelligence lab for Siemens in Germany and Italy in 1987-1990, while in 1982-1986, with GE, he managed international, multi-ethnic teams of software experts in the US and the UK. Over the years Paolo has consulted worldwide on IT and strategy issues for organizations such as Accenture, Aventis, Banco de Bilbao, Cisco, ENI, IBM, Microsoft, Nestlé, Novartis, Oracle, Royal Dutch Shell, SAP, the US Department of Justice. Paolo holds a PhD in physics from the University of Pavia in Italy.

Seasoned executive with broad experience in general Management, corporate strategy and development. He served as the President & CEO of Memorex Telex Japan for 18 years until 1997. He promoted and organized many successful Japanese and U.S./Japanese joint ventures. He maintains close ties to Japan's information technology business and financial communities. He currently is serving as the President of ETF Japan Ltd. supporting ETF Group companies in entering and building business in the Japanese Market. His current activity includes the position of Chairman at STA Global K.K. who develops SCM (supply chain management) software.
